Tadcaster will be as keen as we are to get back out on the field as they've had a couple of postponements over the last fortnight too. Apart from a bit of drizzle, there shouldn't be much stopping this one from going ahead though.

We've had a rough couple of weeks with a couple of significant departures, and we've got a couple of challenging weeks ahead too with a packed festive schedule (assuming all matches are on) with 4 games in something like 9 days, culminating in a tasty local derby against Radcliffe on New Years Day.. 3 of these 4 games we've got coming up are against teams around us in the league, so it's a real chance for us to break back into the top half of the league, and maybe even slow down the financial juggernaut that is Hyde - judging by our performance against South Shields, it's very much a possibility, as long as we get behind the lads, and the lads stay focused and calm. With a packed schedule and a diminished team it's also vital we avoid any unnecessary suspensions or injuries!
With all that said, the next week or two could prove vital in determining how the rest of the season plays out. Times like these are a great chance for clubs to show what they're made of, and three points away from home would be a very welcome early Christmas gift!
Christmas jumpers at the ready - let's take it to Taddy!

Yep, agree with points made by LJDV. Having just checked the archives, we won there last season 0 - 1, so hope we can win again on Saturday. Pitch will be heavy but surely playable. The Rams currently 15th in the table, and urgently need points to get in the top half of the table for starters. Wondering if Danny Tabs will be back and fit to play ?

Unfortunately we won't be seeing Tabby between the sticks again this season, he himself has just announced on social media that his season is over.

As I recall, a rather non-eventful game last year with Lee Gaskell scoring from the spot on his return to the Rams.
This season at home, Tadcaster have won 5, drawn 1 and lost 3 of their games (each of those losses to the odd goal), and have a +10 goal difference; (although 6 of those were in a single game against Ossett Albion).
Nevertheless, it won't be an easy game.
Sorry I wont be there but best of luck to the team! and a very wishes to all the staff and supporters of RAMMY UNITED.

An entertaining game and The Rams well worth the away point. Good to see Gassy back with us, and a nice gesture from the Manager and players to shake hands with the small group of Rammy fans as they left the pitch. Nice Touch.

Agree, an excellent touch for the staff and players to come over to us at the end. A small gesture that meant a lot to those who had traveled :cheer:

A most enjoyable game also and an excellent advert for football at this level. We were probably the best team, but can't argue with a draw
