Cables having a good season to date and currently 5th in the league, so will be a stern test for the revived Rams. We won there last season 2 - 4, so more of the same will do nicely. Not the easiest place to park as adjoining streets are restricted to local residential parking permits.

Would happily take a draw at this one- don't think Mark Fell is "to far off the mark" when he says play offs are still a possibility. Lots of games to go and teams above us have lots of fixtures against each other. The only downside is the possibility that we mat end up playing three games a week with this bloody weather. Stay positive Rams and Ramsettes.

Good luck to The Rams today. Can't make this fixture due to a chest infection. The weather should improve as the day progresses and should be a dry and maybe sunny afty. From what I can remember a flat and good sized pitch which should suit our wingers Jerome and Whizz. If we battle hard as we did all game at Ossett Town, then I think we'll be OK and bring home the bacon. Will follow it all on our Twitterfeed.

My car is full and Andy and Little Katie are going to the game from elsewhere. Hopefully someone will offer you a lift and I'll try and have a think

Hackers, hope you're feeling better soon :cheer:

Got the weather forecast right, but not the result. Had to follow it on our Twitter. Such an early penalty against us didn't do us any favours, maybe a rash challenge ? or handball ? Jumping to conclusions here, but two late yellow cards against Deano and Greg leads me to believe The Rams went down fighting.

Can't knock the players commitment, Hackers, and don't think Prescot were a much better team than us. The difference, for me, was that they were comfortable playing as a team and we weren't. Constant changes to our starting line ups and too many players coming in and out of the club, including too many loan players, have led to a lack of consistency in performances and results.

Still, what do we know, we're only supporters

Have to agree with Mr Darkside, can't fault effort from most players but we've had no consistency in line-ups. I know players have left, been injured, and been suspended at times but even when the opportunity has been there to play the same line-up 2 games running to give some stability it hasn't happened and I don't understand why. And I'm not a fan of 4-5-1 / 4-3-3. Time and again we see Gassy, Greg or whoever is playing up front heading the ball on to no-one because they're not paired with anyone. I'm no expert so if anyone wants to give me good reasons for the constant changing and playing one up front then I'll listen but right now I'm disappointed with the results we're getting from an excellent group of players. Whether it's the players or management that's to blame I'm not sure but after seeing all but one game of the "Vaughan era" I'm a whole lot less tolerant than I used to be about excuses for poor performances.

Couldn't make it yesterday so not fair of me to comment on the result.
However, mediocre to poor seems a fair assessment of this season so far and the recent play off expectations were rather silly.
How many players have we used so far?
How many times have we fielded an unchanged team?
I'll still be there when I can because it's my club but this is turning into another Vaughanmare.
