They say all cup ties are ' one off's ', but can see this match going to the wire, and even penalties. The Rams only chance of silverware this season and need to play their strongest X1. You would assume this means the return of Jerome and Whizz to the front line and maybe playing the invisible man himself - Ryan Salmon. Would also have a role to play for Robbo. Thought he put a good shift in against Colwyn Bay.

Good luck to Atherton Coll's in the semi-final. They have been drawn away to meet Hednesford Town.

As with the Colwyn Bay game on Tuesday we had the bulk of possession, but failed to make many real chances which is becoming a bit of a worry. No hiding from the fact that we've witnessed two very poor games this week, but cannot criticise the players in any way at all as the effort and commitment has been second to none.

Missed out on a glamour tie with Hednesford then, Doh !!!, but can anyone honestly see past South Shields lifting the trophy after an impressive 5-1 victory at NPL Workington last night
