Still ten league games left to play. Must aim for mid-table respectability - no excuses. Finished 14th last season with 53 points after having had 4 pts deducted for ineligible player.

A rather busy schedule over the next four weeks and an excellent opportunity to give 90 minutes to some of the youth players on the fringes of the squad, especially as we have nothing to play for. Its great to see Regan and Harry getting first team chances, but can't be easy to settle into the team when you are just getting appearances off the bench when we are chasing games.

Might also be an idea to actually play them in the positions they are comfortable playing which didn't happen with Regan on Tuesday and was like setting him up to fail. Would much rather see the young lads than players who are here to get match fitness before going back to their parent clubs.

The archives show that we won this home fixture last season by the reverse score i.e. 4 - 2, so not good from that point of view. Could have been a different outcome had Whizz's great run and shot not smacked against the post, and Robbo's second-half chance not gone just wide. However, superb measured pass from Robbo to put Luke through for his great strike and our second goal.
Need to battle on and avoid any complacency. See Goole AFC won away and could potentially finish on 42 points, although have a goal difference of a whopping minus 53. The Rams need at least a further 8 pts to be safe from the drop, and have got 9 games to get those points

Positives
2 excellent goals (including a superb pass from Robbo as Hackers said)
Good to see Whiz playing on the left and 'whizzing' past opponents when he got the chance from left back

Negatives
We have a team full of grafters, absolutely can't fault the effort, but very little creativity at the moment. Pass completion percentage must be very low for the last 2 games. The effort displayed by most if not all players makes the losses all the more painful because they don't deserve it!

Onwards to the next one. Come on You Rams!
