Last season's home result was a 3 - 4 away win to Clitheroe. No doubt Clitheroe will be hoping to get the full 3 points again this Saturday to boost their chances of getting in to the ' play off's '. According to Statto it is highly likely that the 3rd placed team in our league will automatically be promoted and currently this is Scarboro. This is when comparisons are made with other 3rd place teams in the other leagues in the same step in the pyramid. If this holds true then teams who finish 4, 5, 6, and 7 in our league will contest the play off's this season. Could be another almighty battle for The Rams.

Even at 0 - 0, thought The Rams were shading it, and in the end deserved their 1 - 0 win. When it came a great goal. A superb cross from Luke and an unstoppable bullet header from Jerome which gave their keeper no chance, and but for the netting and Stand behind the goal would have ended up on TNT's car park ! At times some exciting link up play between Whizz and Jerome down the left flank, and top saves by Sam to keep a clean sheet. Thought Whizz was outstanding all through the game. Bode's well for our next home game against Hyde, but will seriously miss Thommo if his straight red card has kicked in. Try and bring Zehn back ?

Yep, we thoroughly deserved the win and with a good performance against Ossett Albion as well I'd say it was the most enjoyable week of football in a while. Think we'll have Tommo against Hyde but will lose him for 3 games after that so fingers crossed Zehn has recovered from his injury enough to come back.
