Looks like The Rams may have picked a tough away fixture at newly promoted Pontefract Collieries if Pontefract can match up to recently promoted Atherton Collieries performances. I see Maxibo in an earlier posting reckons we need a striker. Well he may be proven right, but six goals in the last 2 outings from The Rams isn't a bad haul. As this game is listed as a ' friendly ' which I doubt it will turn out to be, as the hosts will be competitive and want to get one over on The Rams, then I think we should go over there all guns blazing and play a five man forward line of Jerome-Gassy-Dom Marie-Greg-Luke Jordan, and then try and blow them ' out the water '.

Do we have another friendly after today, or has the word penultimate been used incorrectly on the twitter feed?

Anyone else think that this has been a poorly organised pre-season ?

Two games to go, maximum, and we still haven't seen our full team playing together. As mentioned on a previous thread, I realise we have injuries/holiday absentees, but we're still looking at trialists who are clearly not good enough

I would have thought we could have used some of the free midweeks to fit in some extra games to get the team gelling and build up match fitness, but then what do I know. Past caring before the season starts

A lack of fitness, a lack of cohesion and still relying on trialists so close to the start of the season. We were lucky the scoreline wasn’t worse today as that was a total shambles. Not blaming the players individually as we do have some good players who should be more than able to compete at this level.

Something very wrong at the club and changes need to be made soon, changes that should have happened at the end of last season. Can anyone tell me in what ways the club has moved forward in the two years Mark Fell has been here because I can’t see any?

Dwindling crowds towards the end of last season and from those I have spoken to that isn’t going to improve anytime soon.

The writing was on the wall ever before The Rams set off to Pontefract, as Ponte had already beaten the Huddersfield Town AFC Academy Team 11 - 1 earlier in the week. We should have played our strongest team available straight from the kick-off. I'm curious to know just how many trialists will start against Market Drayton !!!!!!!!!

New Image looks like a ' lookalikeee ' Rammy Manager to me. It's the King of the One Liners being Tim Vine but just how many Comedians do we need down at The Riverside ???

I might change mine to this in reaction to yesterday's performance...
