Maybe a little early to be posting this new heading , but gotta keep our well viewed forum ticking over. Chasetown currently second from bottom [ 19th ] and must be disappointed with their results to date , as they finished 5th in Div 1 South last season and made the play-offs. If The Rams can get back to more or less a full strength team, and with home advantage, and bearing in mind Chasetown have only won once this season, then most bookmakers would have this fixture down as a home win. But then again how come Skem beat Radcliffe away.

Now confirmed that Mark Fell has left the Club. Let's make sure the Rammy fans turn up in numbers for this home fixture. I think our players deserve to be well supported, so let's get down to The Riverside this Sat afty and hope the stay-aways, armchair fans, discontented, disgruntled, groundhoppers, Joe and Joan Public, and Uncle Tom Cobley and all flood back for the match. At least need to top the 200 gate.

Following last night's results, Chasetown are now the bottom club in our league having amassed just 5 points from their 9 games so far and with an 11-goal deficit.
They have drawn twice at home against Kidsgrove and Clitheroe (sounds familiar) and their only win being a 4-2 victory at Droylsden - No mean feat! So, whilst nothing can be taken for granted, there is every chance that "The Rams" can get the new era off to a winning start.
Several words are buzzing around in my head: Width, Accuracy, Determination, Pride, Togetherness, Confidence etc.

Just goes to show there's no easy games at this level. We gave up a 2 - 0 lead for the second week running, but fair play to Chasetown who came back strongly in the second-half and deserved their point. Top saves from Sam in the latter stages of the game as could well have been a home loss, and great to see Ryan back with us and another outstanding performance from him.
Onwards and Upwards to Trafford via Widnes.
