Phil 'Wiz' Dean has announced on twitter that he's left Rammy. To say I'm gutted is an understatement. How our new manager can think he's surplus to requirements I have no idea... :(

I've not tweeted the news from the main twitter account as I am awaiting an official club statement on the matter.

Yes, a surprise to say the least, but as we all know this tends to happen when new management step in.
Disappointed to see one of Rammy's most talented players leave but unfortunately I expect more to follow.
Good Luck and all the best Wiz wherever your path takes you.

Phil (Wizz),
So sorry to learn about your departure (again).
You have been a stalwart of the team over the years and will be sorely missed.
Good luck where ever you go and please have pity on us if you return as opposition!
COY(X)R! COY(X)R!! COY(X)R!!!

Surprised, shocked, amazed at that decision. As noted, I am sure there will be more goings. Good luck to Phil, sure there will be a number of clubs clamouring to sign you up.

What a sickener. For me Phil was ultra-professional in all his dealings with the Club both on and off the field. Clearly a player who has strong principles, and considering his illustrious career to date, not one to be messed about. Could easily play at a higher level in both Premier Division or even Vanarama. The Rams must be mad to let him go, as he gave 110% every game. I will most certainly miss him and obviously leaves with our best wishes. Looking back, I suppose the writing could have been on the wall last Saturday at Trafford when Whizz didn't automatically replace Jerome Wright on the left wing. Also why would our new Manager sign yet another left-winger in Nick Evangelinos and play him straight from kick-off. No team needs 3 left-wingers !
All a bit crazy and leaves me with mixed feelings.

Well well.. I didn't enter into the demise of a Mark Fell and I see he's doing very nicely with 7 points out of 9!!
Now we have a new manager who is getting rid of true Rammy legends!!
All I can say is.....Careful what you wish for...

Gutted to see Wizz go and would be in my all-time Rammy eleven without a doubt. Still think he is more than good enough to play for us, but won’t argue with the managers decision. While not being happy about this, at least it shows the new manager has his own vision of how we should be moving forward and isn’t going to make decisions just to placate the supporters. We are currently in the process of arranging a Q&A where, I'm sure, Chris will be happy to answer any of your questions

Good luck in the future Wizz. A Rammy legend whichever way you look at it

I couldn't make the HWRS today the hospital let me out last Friday night and fit I wasn't for the trip to Rammy. The story of players in these leagues no name on their shirts and ins and outs make transfers none ethical, it could be the anybody who want's out and out they go. With Wizz he might end up in another blue kit at the Giant Axe after Lancaster City's 6 -- 0 battering at home to Scarborough it wouldn't shock me a step up the league does give a pull to a player. I was assistant at clubs and the players talked to me and if possible I sorted things out and they stayed, that was my job with football tactic's. I enjoyed watching Phil and hope he does good were ever he goes.
