Agreed there are double yellow lines down on the access road, but, to the best of my knowledge, they are only "cosmetic" and not enforceable. Just there to as a nuisance value. Whereas the supermarket ones ALL have time restrictions. The Cricket/Football car parks tend to be full around 1:45pm for big matches.

Hard to work out what the actual gate will be. We had 511 on our Boxing Day derby against local rivals Radcliffe FC.
Word has it that you'll be bringing 70 supporters which seems a really good following considering it appears to be a 7hr road trip. I reckon the gate on the day will be around the 400 - 450 mark and parking should be OK. Sometimes the access road around the perimeter of the cricket pitch itself is used for ' overspill ' parking.

Welcome to the forum, Johnny Boy, and shall look forward to sharing a pint or two with your supporters on Saturday

As already mentioned, Irwell Works Brewery is a must for any visitors to the town. They brew the beer downstairs and sell it upstairs for approx £3 a pint so whats not to love. If you struggle to find it, its behind Morrisons in the town centre. The Major also serve a decent pint, but I'd probably keep clear of The Railway (nearest pub to the ground) as I find it a bit pricey and not great quality of ale being served. Most Rammy supporters converge on the Cricket Club bar from 2.00 onwards and we're a friendly bunch so look forward to seeing you

Have a safe trip

In reference to Louis Rowe, on another thread, I believe he has left the club a couple of weeks ago and gone elsewhere

Thanks for all the info guys, much appreciated. Interested to hear that you’ve got a few players missing through being cup tied etc! Think we’ll be missing a couple / few as well due to injuries, although should be a bit better off than last Saturday when our manager and GK coach were named on the bench to make up the numbers......

Big Jim - whatever happens you won't be far out. Depends whether its 4-3-3 or 4-4-2. It won't be 2-3-5  and it won't be 4-2-4 :silly:
I'm not sure Osi-Efa is a forward player
One option would be to go 4-4-2 with Nic and Reagan up front and Kyle moved up to right side mid-field as he has attacking flair and is a ' natural ' when going forward. Osi-Efa or Parker or Lugsden to make up the back four. This option is basically a ' defensive ' option and relies upon us scoring on the break, and then parking the bus, i.e. a 1 - 0
home win.

Another option is obviously 4-3-3 and your selection might just be right.

Hackers (and others),
I like the rapport that we are building with the Weymouth supporters (welcome all) but let's leave the team selection and tactics to one whom is rapidly becoming a "Rammy Legend".
All I hope for is a good performance and an entertaining match (and of-course a "Rammy" win).
Wishing a safe journey to all Weymouth fans (both ways).
COYR! COYR!! COYR!!!

I hope to be in Ramsbottom for 4pm Friday, I have booked 3 nights at the Old Mill, so I will have plenty of time to enjoy the Town, whatever the result ????
