Another opportunity for the Development Squad players to get more game time and invaluable experience at Northern Premier League level . What I think has been forgotten by most of us is that Trafford are the current holders of the Integro League Cup having beaten Farsley Celtic in the final last year
Would very much like to see Greg Daniels on the park again , but must be a question over this , as his dual registration team in the NWCFL [ Cheadle Town FC ] play the following Wednesday night , so it could be a case of who has first dibs on him so to speak .
Seeing as it's the only Cup silverware we have a chance of winning , then let's throw the kitchen sink at it .

Have every confidence in our Manager picking the right team for tonight's cup tie . A win would take us in to the last 16 .
Happy to play the Development Players again , and hope Greg Daniels is on the park . Despite Reece Fishwick playing a blinder at CoL , I personally would stand him down tonight and give the talented Ben Hampson some game time and the full ninety . Would also like to see Danny , Mason , and Richie on the park . Already done the double over Trafford which is quite some achievement in itself , but think a treble is on the cards provided the much different side can gel together .

Not happy with a few things on the park tonight but glad to be out of this tin top trophy, it now leaves us with the league. Players will respond on Saturday knowing that a lot of goals were shipped past us tonight hopefully positions will be back to positions against Brighouse and the rest of the season. . C'mon You Rams

Not the result we wanted, but what great entertainment.

Won't take anything away from Trafford who were well up for it, but wasn't until their late 5th goal that is was over as a contest. Add in Eddie missing an open goal (chin up, Eddie, happens to the best of 'em pal), hitting the woodwork and a blatant penalty that the Ref bottled, as he had given us one a couple of minutes before, and could have been a different story. It wasn't to be, but can't criticise the effort or how the players fought for each other and each game must give Chris headaches on who to pick from this talented squad we have.

Finally, pleasing to see some of those new supporters we have picked up turning into regular away-dayers and, to use a well worn cliche, they saw a great advert for the non-league game tonight.

Bring on the Brighouse and see you all up there :woohoo:

Yep , agree with El Tactico [ ] . No major disappointment to have exited the Integro Cup . Thought Nico had a big impact coming on as sub , and getting us back to 4 - 2 . Also thought that some players were asked to play out of position and that disrupted our normal play and our normal cohesion broke down . Ah well , let's not worry so long as we get back on track and in the winning groove at Brighouse , as the League is what it's really all about and our promotion push . Roll on Saturday.
