Looking forward to this fixture which should be a right old ' battle royal ' . Clitheroe have strengthened their squad no end with the signings of Billy Priestley , Chris Smalley , Ross Dent , Craig Hobson and not least Gary Stopforth , all of whom have either played in our Premier League or National League . Should be quite some fixture and tickets for the match required . Also , this game could fall foul if additional Covid restrictions come in at the start of this week for non-essential travel . Just hoping our Thommo can shake off his knock for this game as the potential aerial battles with ex-Ram Billy Priestley should be an awesome spectacle to watch in both attack & defence and could well shape the final result .

This was always gonna be a ' must see ' local derby with both teams riding high in the League , and as it proved a maximum gate of 400 on not a particularly enticing Tuesday night weather-wise . As happened away at Mossley , The Rams went into this game with a makeshift defence , with only 50% of our back four from our Saturday home win and again it proved to be our undoing . Maybe our players working nights or just carrying injuries who knows . Only two bright sparks on the night for me with just a fabulous cross in from the right wing for our goal and secondly Worksop going down at home 2 - 4 to Sutton Coldfield .
