RAMSBOTTOM AND BEYOND
Well I'm sure that not even Einstein or come to that any super intelligent soul on Planet Earth could have predicted this time last year that we would now have a Worldwide Virus pandemic on our hands , that Bury FC would become Bury AFC and play in the NWCFL in First Division North , and most amazing of all that Football Club Isle of Man would now play in the North West Counties set up .

As regards FC Isle of Man they must have some wealthy backers to enable them to play 19 League Matches away from home and no doubt some midweek evening away games . Just how many people and players can you get on a Lear Jet ? and pretty sure that New Mills doesn't have a landing strip , or maybe it's just an early boat jobby ? The early boat might be just ticketty-boo for their visit to Cammell Laird 1907 !
Not looked into this at all but strongly suspect the Isle of Man Tourist Board will be part funding their Team as will do their Tourism Industry no harm as well behaved incoming fans will give a welcome boost to the Island's economy with no doubt some away supporters having a ' stop over ' and mighty piss up !

ps Anyone know where Bury AFC are to play their home games ? Would it still be at Gigg Lane ??

Anyway COYR - have we got a retained list yet ? What we don't want is another Jonno & Bern scenario with now Bury AFC headhunting our ex-Bury FC players !

Bury FC could yet be accepted into the National league according to the BBC: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53555576

Agree it'd be nice to know some of the retained players. I know there's a nervousness about announcing players when they can easily go and sign for another club before the season starts but, given that we don't give contracts to players, that situation remains the same throughout the season anyway.

EDIT: Three retained players just announced - Tom Kennedy, Richie Baker and Jamie Rother - good news!

Good news indeed . Am well pleased to see that Messrs Kennedy , Baker , and Rother who are 3 Key Players for the Mighty Rams have re-signed for the new Season - just dandy as our Super Skipper in that trio .
