More players join to strength squad

Ramsbottom United joint managers Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley have strengthened their squad by bringing in GEORGE GRAYSON from Conference North, Tamworth.  The 20 year old is a highly rated full-back capable of playing on either flank, giving the Rams additional defensive flexibility.

He joins other recent recruits NELSON MOTA, ALEX PIACENTILE and JAKE PARKER.

NELSON MOTA, 25,  has joined from FC United of Manchester and played up front on a couple of occasions already, whilst JAKE PARKER and 22 year old ALEX PIACENTILE have both been awaiting International clearance.

This has now come through in Parker's case, as he last played in Wales for Colwyn Bay. A tenacious midfield player, the 19 year old is a local Manchester-based lad.

Piacentile, who last played in his home country of Spain, is still awaiting clearance before he can be considered.

Anthony Johnson commented "It's amazing how many players are contacting us now wanting to play for Ramsbottom. They obviously like our style of play and are probably influenced by our results and league table being displayed regularly on Sky Television!"
