Ramsbottom United have further strengthened their squad with the signing of 19-year-old forward Max Hazledine.
A former Accrington Stanley professional who spent time on loan at Stockport County in the Conference North before joining Skelmersdale United. At Skem, he set the Northern Premier League alight with 17 goals in 22 games, including at the Riverside against the Rams.
A lightening quick forward who can be utilised on the wings as well, Stockport-based Hazeldine came through the ranks at Stanley making his League Two debut in 2015 against Dagenham and Redbridge.
Rams joint manager Mark Fell says Hazeldine is a real coup for the club. "Max has been a popular man since his departure from Skem, we spoke to him a couple of times and he was impressed with the way we do things. He's a young man who's got a great footballing future ahead of him, he needs to get back playing and enjoying himself and I'm sure we can be a platform for him to move back up the football pyramid."
Hazeldine goes into the Ramsbottom squad for the Boxing Day derby with Radcliffe Borough.
