Rams bring in Premier keeper

Ramsbottom United have confirmed the youth loan of Everton goalkeeper Matty Johnson.  The 19 year old arrives from the Toffees as replacement for the injured Danny Taberner who will have a scan on his knee injury later this week.

Johnson impressed in the Evo-Stik League whilst on loan at Radcliffe as a 17-year-old, but his spell at Taurus Park was cut short when he suffered a broken leg in their fixture against Colne.  Now back to full fitness he has been back playing for the Academy sides at Everton in recent months.

Also signing first team forms is young forward Michael Williams, the 18-year-old has impressed in the reserves and U21's and is a product of the Accrington & Rossendale College football academy and spent time in the Academy at Accrington Stanley.
