Rammy legend returns home!

Lee Gaskell has arrived back to the Riverside again and is looking to fire the Rams back up the table.  The 32-year-old Rammy legend has over 120 Rammy goals to his name and returns to Mark Fell's squad after a brief spell with neighbours Colne.

The striker, who has played 238 games for Ramsbottom over several spells, returns to the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium in time for the busy Christmas and New Year period, and Fell thinks 'Gassy' is back with a point to prove.

'He's still got a hunger, he loves the club and as a finisher there's not many better.  The way we're playing at the moment, we're creating lots of chances and we've got to be more clinical.  Christmas is a key period for us and we need to utilise our resources effectively - we've set ourselves a target for the Christmas period that we need to achieve to put us back in the hunt.

The Rammy faithful will be delighted to see Lee, who was an important member of the team that had so much success in being promoted from the North West Counties League up to the Evo-Stik Premier, back at the club.

The ideal Christmas present!
