31 year old experienced goalkeeper who made his loan move from Chorley permanent in the summer of 2018. Made his professional debut as a striker for Bolton in the FA cup as an 18 year old. Sam works as a special needs teacher during the week.

30 year old full back who can operate in midfield if required, Rob won the Division 1 north with Lancaster in 2016/17 where he was player coach. A teacher at Myerscough College, Rob also works in the Academy at Preston North End.

Former professional Tom Kennedy needs no introduction, with over 400 Football League games under his belt, the 33 year old arrived at the Riverside in the summer. Tom, a left back by trade but spent most of last season for Bangor in a midfield role.



4. Dean Stott (Club captain)

Arrived in the summer of the 2016/17, a year later taking over the captaincy from Gareth Seddon. A combative midfielder who can also be successfully utilised at right back or centre half. A plasterer by trade, Dean has lifted the Evo-Stik premier division champions trophy as FC United skipper.



5. Luke Thompson

Another summer of 2016/17 arrival, Thommo made the step up from North West Counties Football and became an instant hit. A fans favourite who gives everything on the pitch. An out and out defender who can be dangerous on attacking set-plays, the 27 year old from Burnley is coming up to a century of Rams appearances.

Arrived mid-way through the 17/18 season from neighbours Clitheroe, 21 year old Liverpudlian Ryan impressed with a string of strong performances. Retained for the 18/19 season, Ryan can be used at centre half or right back.

A living Rammy legend, at just 27 years old already holds the record for league appearances and is heading up towards the 300 mark. A flying winger who has more recently reverted to a left back role, Wiz is one of the most iconic names in the clubs history. A Bury lad, Phil has scored 60 Rams goals, putting him 5th in the all time scoring charts.



8. Jamie Rother

Arrived at the Riverside in 2014 but injuries blighted his first two seasons including two ruptured Achilles injuries. Now back to full fitness Jamie played 29 games last season scoring 3 goals. The 28 year old, Manchester based midfielder is known for his fully committed style and remains a key component in the Rams midfield



10. Greg Daniels

Arrived in the summer of 17/18, going on to play 47 games scoring 10 goals. A forward who usually plays just behind a main striker but has shown his ability to act as a target man if required. Based in Bolton and still only 25, Greg has an excellent pedigree having been part of the FC United team that bounced through the leagues.



11. Jerome Wright

A non-league name that needs no introduction, over 400 appearances for the Rebels as they flew through the leagues reaching the FA Cup 2nd round in the process. Jerome was last seasons big summer signing and repaid the rams with 18 goals from left wing and the player of the season award.

Young central defender who arrived on loan in August from Chester City. The defender joined Chester from Wrexham and made his debut last season in the Cheshire Senior cup. He too signed a professional contract in the summer and is another tipped for big things with the Seals.

Made his Rams debut in 2013 as a striker and went onto play 60 games over two spells. Returned to the club in the summer of 2017 and reverted to a midfield role, playing 27 games. A local lad from Tottington, Tom’s work rate and ability to break up play makes him a useful tool in the Rams armoury.

Summer signing from Glossop, Higgs won promotion from step 4 with St Ives before moving north to live in Manchester. A classy central midfielder with an eye for the spectacular goal, Jack has National League South experience with Histon.

Young midfielder who arrived on loan in August from Chester City. The 19 year old has already impressed the Chester support with some dynamic performances last season and signed a contract extension in the summer, the young forward came through the Academy ranks at the Deva and was voted young player of the season and his winner against Bromley last season was voted goal of the season.

Another Rams legend, with over 250 games under his belt and 125 goals, a goal ratio second to non at this level. Over 3 spells with the Rams Lee’s contribution will go down in Rammy folk law. Now 33, Bury based Gassy showed he still had a lot to offer the Rams with some spectacular goals at the end of the 17/18 season.

One of the summer recruits, again from promoted Hyde, Deegs has several promotion on his CV including Warrington Town. The 30 year old, 6ft2 striker lives in Stockport and teams up again with ex-Fc United teammates Jerome Wright, Dean Stott and Greg Daniels.

Young central midfield player who graduated from the U21’s to play in 11 games last season. A young player of which hopes are high for him to become a regular in the side. Harry is a ball playing midfielder who likes some of the old fashioned parts of the midfield battle.

Joined the Rams in the summer of 2016 as joint manager with Paul Fildes and took over the sole occupancy of the role at Christmas following Fildes’ departure. A UEFA A licenced coach who spent 6 years coaching in the Academy at Preston North End before going on to lead Nelson to their first NWCFL title in 52 years in 2013. Now in his second season with the Rams, hoping to lead a promotion charge.



ASSISTANT MANAGER: Graham Lancashire

A former goal-scorer with Burnley, Wigan Athletic and Rochdale, Graham joined the Rams towards the end of the 2016/17 season, and during the summer was Fell’s choice as Assistant Manager. The 44 year old from Burnley’s coaching career saw him take a key role in the Claret’s youth department before moving on to work with Gareth Seddon on the agency DRN Sport.

A former goal-keeper for the Rams, and signed on as a player this season, Andy has plenty of experience, also having played for Chorley, Droylsden, Mossley, Witton and Trafford during an illustrious non-league career
